visited this hotel in July 2003. Here are our comments;
Location
Viviero is located on the northern coast of Galicia, part
of the Costa de la Muerte. The town is located just off
the N642 highway and is easy to get to. The hotel is just
a short drive from the town and is situated in a wonderful,
rural and quiet area. Lugo
is the nearest large city.
Accommodation
There is no doubt that this hotel is of the highest
quality. The hotel is based within a fully restored
manor house (Pazo), situated within its own grounds
with landscaped gardens.
Bedrooms
are all individual and furnished to a high standard.
All have fully equipped bathrooms, TV, phone and mini-bar.

Facilities
There are ample public lounges, all furnished with period
furniture and very comfortable. There is a small gym
and sauna. Private tennis courts and swimming pool are
located within the grounds and available to guests,
free of charge. |

restaurant serves evening meals and breakfasts. Here you
have an ideal opportunity to sample true Galician cuisine.
The hotel also caters for organised groups. |

Our
opinion
An
excellent hotel, well located and of a very high standard.
The staff are wonderful and will take care of you. The
house has been restored well and has retained all its
original features. The gardens are an absolute delight.
The
beds were notably of a high quality so a good nights'
sleep was easy.
Breakfasts
(excellent buffet style) are taken in the purpose built
dining room with its original beams and small windows.
Breakfast times are extended.
