The cost of living in Spain is
pretty much in line with the UK
although, depending on where you
shop, certain goods can be found
cheaper.

on holiday, revealed that he
thought shoes were cheaper in the
UK as were some clothes. |

find
in
Spain,
the
tourist
areas
command
the
highest
prices
for
most
things.
However,
if
you
shop
where
the
Spanish
shop
you
are
likely
to
get
the
cheapest
buys.
Small
Spanish
villages
have
the
best
prices
for
fresh
produce,
especially
if
it's
grown
locally.
Local
markets
are
great
places
to
shop.
The
major
supermarket
chains
in
large
towns
and
cities
are
no
different
to
those
in
the
UK
and
are
all
competing
with
each
other
on
price.
It
pays
you
to
shop
around. Euroski for example is more expensive than Lidl.

capital
purchases
such
as
furniture,
it
pays
to
visit
some
of
the
larger
hypermarket
type
showrooms
where
there
is
always
a
sale
going
on.
