visited this hotel in August 2003. Here are our comments;
Location
The hotel is located just a short drive from the main
road and occupies an elevated position, overlooking
the sea and the port. The main A9 motorway runs close
by, giving easy access. The hotel has its own car park
at the rear.

Accommodation
The
building itself is a totally restored manor house and
has been restored to a very high standard. All the original
features have been retained, yet all modern facilities
have been included. The rooms are all different and
are furnished to a high standard. All but one have views
to the sea and the gardens. Phone, TV and mini-bar are
included. Fully fitted bathrooms with showers are of
a high standard. All guests have access to drink making
facilities.

Facilities
There
is a study/library and internet access. There are also
public lounges that are very comfortable. There is also
a fully functional bar. All staff speak English and
many other languages. |
Meals
Breakfast is taken in the purpose built dining room.
Fresh Galician products are included in the breakfasts,
the times for which are very flexible. |

| The
gardens are an absolute delight. There is a small pool
that is very inviting in the warm weather. Drinks and/or
breakfasts can be taken in the garden. There are also
secluded, shady corners to sit and read. |

Our
opinion
The
location of the hotel is excellent. The accommodation
is also perfect and of a high standard but the most important
aspect of this hotel are the hosts. Juan and Rudi just
love having guests and they are great company. They have
developed a good business here and are quite aware of
their guests needs and expectations. This hotel will definately
live up to all your expectations and we will certainly
use this hotel again, and again. |
