We made another short trip to Spain to explore several new
hotels and establish the situation with the property market on
the Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca. Time also to catch up
with many old contacts and friends. |

2006
Big changes with Idealspain.com as the
relationship with our webmaster is severed and the website is
sold to new owners, Idealguides Ltd. Massive improvements in
the website are to be implemented, much to the benefit of our
readers and clients. Steve and Sandra will however continue to
manage the site for the new company and will continue to keep
the website up to date.

January 2006
Time to
re-trace our steps from a few years ago and explore
Spain again.
We head up the coast of Spain, our first stop is Aguilas,
then Catagena and Torrevieja where we explore the salt
production industry (report to follow).
From here we carry on
north and stay in Alicante.
Our next stop is the beautiful city of Valencia where we
update our photograph files and tourist information. |
Over the
following days we slowly make our way through the Costa
Blanca, exploring many resorts then finally staying in
Tarragona where we explore the rich Roman history.
From Tarragona we head on to the city of Barcelona to
get more photos, video and tourist information.
The winter weather is setting in and cold temperatures
force us south and inland calling at Lleida to
photograph the amazing castle and cathedral.
From Lleida we head further south to stay in Tarragona
again where we re-visit the El Pilar cathedral.

The Idealspain team
launch a new marketing campaign with over 10,000 leaflets
distributed, promoting the website. More than 2,000 new
clients this year so far have made Idealspain one of their
main vehicles for advertising in Spain and the sits stats
hit an all time high with nearly 300,000 readers
(unique visitors) a month |
