Teruel is located along the N234 highway between Soria and Valencia and borders the RioTuria. Valencia lies 145km away and Cuenca 153km.

Among the many places to visit in Teruel;
The Church of San Pedro, constructed in 1392
The Tower of San Pedro, 13th century
The Cathedral Tower, dated 1257-58
The Tower of San Martin, dated 1315-16
The Cathedral of Santa Maria, dated 1587 (photo below)

The Aquaduct de los Arcos, stretches across Puente Nuevo, south of the town
Dinopolis, a new exhibition centre dedicated to prehistoric times and dinosaurs Tel 902 448 000. Entry is 14.4€ adults and 11.4€ children and elderly citizens.

Teruel is easy to get around by foot and most sights are within easy walking distance of each other. Most buildings have an historic background but are in poor condition. There are many buildings that have been heavily restored, most sympathetically.
