| The Dawn Approach is a traditional wooden sailing ship built in Scotland in 1921, located in the port of Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. A superb example from the halcyon days of sail. She is a gaff rigged ketch, 80 feet (24m) in length and weighs approximately 100 tonnes.
Meticulously maintained and beautifully appointed, she and her fully trained crew are available for that special occasion. Once on board you will find yourself in a unique world of gently curving beams, gleaming teak and polished brass. |

Approach left
on time and
was soon out
in the ocean
off the coast
of Fuengirola.
The crew were
smartly
presented and
very pleasant.
They involved
the children
in hoisting
the sails
which they
enjoyed
thoroughly.
The boat is
all that it is
promised - and
more. A real
touch of
quality and
class. It was
a bonus when
we were
suddenly
surrounded by
hundreds of
dolphins,
playing
alongside the
boat. |

The cruise was
very enjoyable
and on return
to port, the
bar-b-q was
equally as
good. The food
was
beautifully
presented,
along with
drinks. There
was a good,
friendly
atmosphere
between all
the guests and
we even made a
few new
friends. |

and we would
suggest that
anyone on
holiday in the
area simply
must take this
trip. It
represents
very good
value for
money and we
feel it is
surprisingly
