The parador in Jaen sits on the crest of the Santa Catalina Hill and forms part of the Moorish castle. The views from the parador are fantastic. It has been said that this parador is by far the finest in the country.

The origins of this former fortress date back to the times of the Moslems of 1246 and much of the castle still remains and can be explored for a small fee of 3€.

The parador is decorated and furnished to a high standard and has all the facilities you would expect from this class of hotel.

The parador can be reached on (0034) 953 230 000
